| This thesis is a discussion on the visual image design of the cultural and creative brand of my graduation design,"Growth of all things." The Miao people of southern China have many branches,and their clothes are colorful and various,and many experts and scholars have studied the intricacies of their various clothing models and styles.In addition,their other characteristics,traditional clothing patterns,have also attracted widespread attention.Due to historical reasons,the language,customs,and mode of thinking of the Miao people more or less show evidence of migration.Therefore,the culture of the Miao people can also be called a "migration culture." We can still use the special pattern "Miao text," a glimpse into the vast and mysterious history of the Miao ethnic ity,and read a "history without words" of the Miao ethnic group.This thesis will focus on the birds,beasts,flowers,fish,and insects,as well as the myths and legends of the Western Miao costumes,to analyze the Western Miao culture’s profound connotations.On the one hand,this paper deeply probes into how the culture and history of an ethnic group has influenced the development of and changes in its costumes,and how the development and change of ethnic dress reflects the inheritance and development of history and culture.The answer to this ethnological question can be found among the Miao people of Xiangxi and their colorful dress pattern culture.This paper will integrate the traditional costume patterns of the Miao ethnic group in Xiangxi with the visual image of "Growth of all things" and the concept of cultural and creative product design,deconstruct the elements of ethnic characteristics,and design a series of cultural and creative brand products with Xiangxi ethnic characteristics.We should follow the trends and development of the times,conform to contemporary aesthetic concepts,and use cultural and creative brands,an important medium that inherits ethnic culture,to blend tradition with modernity. |
