At present,human development is more and more inseparable from the supply of electrical energy,and 35kV transmission lines occupy an extremely important position in transmission lines.How to ensure the stable and safe operation of 35kV transmission lines is one of the key issues in power system research.Changqing District is located in the after vein of Taishan Mountain,with complex terrain,rich mineral resources,thunderstorms and rain,which brings great challenges to the lightning protection of transmission lines in Changqing mountain area.The 35kV transmission line in Changqing District is complicated and some lines have a long service life.The lightning protection equipment is old,which brings hidden dangers to people's normal production and life.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the lightning protection of the 35kV Transmission Line in Changqing District.Based on the unique geographical and climatic characteristics of the Changqing mountain area,through the modeling and analysis of PSCAD simulation software,this paper proposes the lightning protection transformation measures of 35kV Transmission line.The main research contents are as follows.First,through field investigation and literature review,the types of lightning strikes affecting 35kV and the lightning protection parameters commonly used in lightning analysis models are specifically analyzed,which lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.At the same time,it analyzes the current commonly used transmission line lightning protection methods,analyzes its application fields,advantages,and disadvantages,and lays a technical foundation for lightning protection transformation.Secondly,the climatic characteristics and topography of the mountainous area of Changqing are specifically analyzed.In the Changqing mountain area,there are many thunderstorms in season,and the mountainous terrain makes it complicated.Mineral resources increase the probability of lightning.These reasons together create the current situation of frequent lightning disasters in the Changqing mountain area.Thirdly,taking the 35kV Transmission Line in Changqing mountain area as an example,PSCAD is used for analysis.This paper analyzes the influence of lightning shielding and counterattack on transmission lines,and also analyzes the influence of various lightning protection measures on the lightning resistance without lightning arrester:the smaller the grounding resistance,the stronger the insulation performance,the lower the tower height,the better the lightning resistance.Finally,the lightning protection effect of different zinc oxide arresters in Changqing mountain area is analyzed,and the most suitable arrester is selected.Finally,combined with the climatic and geomorphic characteristics,operation conditions,and simulation analysis results of Changqing mountain area,the specific and feasible transformation measures for lightning protection measures of Changqing power grid are put forward,and good results have been achieved on some lines.
