In recent years,with the continuous progress of information technology and artificial intelligence,the manufacturing model has also undergone great changes.The manufacturing model is changing from the past product-driven to demand-driven.Facing the changing market environment and diversified market demand,whether a manufacturing company can quickly respond to changes in demand determines its market competitiveness.Customer demand-driven product family design is a design method that responds to the individual needs of customers for product customization.The design of products directly driven by customer needs will greatly shorten the development cycle of new products,thereby enhancing the competition of enterprises in the changing market environment and improve the efficiency of the company's product design and create more benefits.This paper focuses on the research of customer demand-driven product family design methods.Driven by demand analysis,it studies the key technologies of modular product family and parametric product family planning,and uses hydraulic press as an example to verify the research method.Demand analysis and modeling is the key to accurately grasp the demand.Customer needs have diversified characteristics and have different classifications.Mastering the characteristics and types of needs is the key to demand acquisition,analysis and modeling.This paper establishes a customer demand expression model,and studies the method of customer demand decomposition and modeling.The prediction of customer needs is the key to predicting market changes in advance,enabling companies to respond to potential market needs and risks.The mapping of customer needs is the key to reflect customer needs to products.The key to the modular product family is to divide the product into modules.This article proposes the strategy of product module division and the evaluation criteria of the product module division scheme.This is the basis for solving the problem of module division by numerical methods.By constructing the general criterion function and noise criterion function of product module division,a multi-objective optimization mathematical model of module division is established,and an improved artificial immune algorithm is proposed to solve the mathematical model of module division.Parameterization is the key to realize flexible product design.Parametric products derive different product instances by adjusting the property values of flexible modules.How to optimize the design of all product instances in a product family is the key to parameterized design.This paper proposes a two-stage parametric product family optimization design method.The parametric product platform is constructed first,and the platform variables are determined before optimizing it.Finally,the hydraulic press product is used as an example to verify the demand forecast and the method of module division and parameter optimization in the development of the hydraulic press product.
