Research On Schedule Management Of Graphics Device Driver Project

Graphics device driver is the driver that controls the graphics hardware in the computer operating system,and it is the software stack that supports the graphics rendering API.With the rapid development of manufacturing in China and the formation of an independent and complete industrial system,the competition in the international market is increasingly fierce.It is of great significance to strengthen the investment in the research and development of software and hardware related to graphics device,so as to improve the innovation ability of China's manufacturing industry.Establishing a scientific and reasonable schedule management model of graphics device driver and strengthening research on schedule management of graphics device driver is important to the planning and control of self-controlled domestic graphics device drivers.Based on the characteristics of the graphics device driver project,this thesis analyzes the core work activities of the graphics device driver project from two dimensions: software stack and project life cycle of the project,and establishes WBS(Work Breakdown Structure),RAM(Responsibility Assignment Matrix)and task list by using the literature research method and combining the current domestic and foreign schedule management experience and the actual situation of the project.To solve the problem of the difficulty in evaluating the work activity duration,PERT(Program Evaluation and Review Technique)is used to estimate the work activity duration.CPM(Critical Path Method)is used to identify the critical path in the schedule plan,and determine project duration.Aiming at the problems of the late start and slow development of domestic graphics device driver project,by the means of DevOps(Development & Operations),the process automation is improved,tedious and repetitive test work activities are simplified and the workflow is optimized.Finally,taking the graphics device driver project as an example,the project schedule plan is implemented,and the effect of the schedule plan is analyzed to verify the rationality and practicability of the optimized schedule plan of the graphics device driver project.The research results of this subject provide a feasible method for the schedule management of the graphics device driver.Through the preparation of the schedule plan of the graphics device driver project,the core work of the project is identified,the project progress is estimated reasonably,and a scientific schedule management mechanism of the graphics device driver project is established to promote the rapid development of graphics device driver project.
