Research On Utilization And Planning Of Rural Idle Ponds In The Southern Of Hebei Plain Regions

Rural ponds are one of the important facilities for village construction in the southern of Hebei plain region.Its main function is to provide water for the production and living of villagers,to undertake village drainage and to collect rainwater and sewage from the village.At the same time,ponds are used for village house construction.The "Digging Ponds" has expanded year by year.In recent years,with the improvement of the living standards of rural villagers,the construction of multi-purpose brick-concrete structures and the improvement of the village drainage pipe network system,most of the ponds in modern rural regions have been reduced to landfills or sewage ponds.The raging and stinking atmosphere seriously affects the quality of the villagers lifestyle;Thus,how to solve the problems which rural ponds faced is the main entry point for the improvement of rural environment.This research focus on how to use rural idle ponds of the southern of Hebei Plain regions,with literature research,case studies,and field investigation.Though the investigation of rural idle ponds in the southern of Hebei Plain region,combined with the relevant theoretical research and practical cases in domestic and foreign,summarizes the planning and design methods for the comprehensive utilization and planning of the idle ponds in the southern of Hebei Plain regions: Firstly,measure the storage volume of the pond to determine the protection range of the ponds.Secondly,combined with the development orientation of the rural,its unique features,nostalgia protection,plan the function of rural ponds.Thirdly,the main contents of the utilization and planning of the rural idle ponds include specific design such as water collection and drainage systems,water purification systems,ecological landscape systems,and comprehensive utilization.Finally,apply the proposed method which the utilization and planning of the rural idle ponds in the southern of Hebei Plain regions to actual practice,use examples to verify the feasibility and rationality of this method,provide specific measures and suggestions for the utilization and planning of the rural idle ponds.
