Soil salinization is one of the aspects of soil degradation, salinization governance receiving more and more attention. Due to its specific climate conditions and geological soil conditions at alluvial plain in low-lying area in Datong Basin in the north of Shanxi Province, surface deposited salinization is serious. The deterioration of ecological environment trends to obstruct the local economic development and the living environment of the local residents living there. The paper tried to design a strong purification of soil salt ecological system taking the role played by the saline plants to restore the pickled land as a starting point. On this foundation, by introducing time dimension, realizing the soil improvement and vegetation restoration and reconstruction goal step by step, through effective intervention for plant community succession. Thesis mainly to complete the following several aspects of content:(1) Firstly the paper try to identify and classify the plant species and the distribution of vegetation type at North Yanchi Village in the north of Shanxi Province, than keeping in good growth of plant communities and habitat, choose to use landscape restoration of plant species.(2) Through the related literature consultation, preliminarily electing common saline plants in northern Shanxi Province. And then, analyzing the chosen saline plants through the salt tolerance ability, salt absorption ability, ecological habits and ornamental characteristics as standards.(3) On this basis, designing the pioneer plant community and the succession plant community by compositing comprehensive the ability of purification the salt affected soil and the ability of salt tolerance for the principle.(4) Finally the paper did comparative assessment between design program and present situation of the North Yanchi Village, combining with the present terrain situation, vegetation distribution, rainwater confluence and saline distribution on the site: optimizing the existing terrain to fit the requirements of soil salt drainage and t the rainwater flow; reference terrain water level, optimizing the pioneer halophytic plant habitats, and deal with the spatial relationship of xerophytes, mesophytes and hygrophytes; according to plant succession law, designing the community succession plants, in order to build a saline plants ecological system with continuous updating ability; at last laying out the corresponding function nodes to complete the design, based on the requirements of the local residents living, production and recreation needs.
