Study On Roof Reconstruction Of Buildings Around Xi’an City Wall

Xi ’an as ten dynasties ancient capital,is rich in historical and cultural heritage,history is for the city’s wealth and glory should not also cannot erase,but along with the rapid development of city,traditional urban style and construction order is disrupted by high-rise buildings springing up,people respect the history,to protect the traditional consciousness gradually strengthened.It is under such an ideology that xi ’an has a unique roof reconstruction phenomenon that takes the building of ancient capital style as the main starting point.In this paper,the causes,background and current situation of roof reconstruction are analyzed from the architectural perspective through a full investigation on the roof reconstruction of the area around the Ming city wall.This paper analyzes and excavates the history,society,city,policies and the driving values behind them,and sorts out and summarizes the current situation of roof reconstruction around the city wall from the aspects of distribution,type division and presentation effect through various ways such as field research,visits by government departments and design institutes,and questionnaire survey.On this basis,the external form,structure and function,material and technology of the roof reconstruction of the area around the Ming city wall are analyzed.At the same time,by analogy with other excellent cases of roof reconstruction,the paper draws some references and shortcomings for the roof reconstruction of the area around the Ming city wall,and provides references for the future theoretical research and design practice of roof reconstruction.Jumping out of the design and technical problems of roof reconstruction itself,its impact on urban space is a relatively macro level.As for the urban space,it is investigated and studied from three different spatial dimensions: point(architectural boundary),line(street space)and surface(urban texture).At the same time,through the questionnaire survey to understand the people’s satisfaction evaluation of the roof reconstruction of the area around the city wall,different social roles will produce different perspectives and then there are different evaluation criteria,since it is born for the city,it needs to be evaluated by the public.Through data analysis,it can be concluded that the overall roof renovation is accepted by the masses.However,there are still many problems,and the specific transformation methods and presentation effects need to be improved.Through the investigation and study on the roof reconstruction of the whole area around the city wall of xi ’an,the author makes a rational and objective analysis and comment on the advantages and disadvantages of the roof reconstruction from the perspective of architecture.Due to the extreme lack of roof reconstruction data reserve in various regions at present,the project filing is very imperfect.It is hoped that this paper can provide basic data reference for future roof reconstruction design research and theoretical data reference for future roof reconstruction design practice.
