Study On The Design Of Local Materials For Huizhou Folk Houses Based On Environmental Media

Rapid urbanization leads to the impact and even destruction of local materials and traditional buildings,which directly leads to the destruction of the natural environment.In this contradiction,the regional architectural culture presents the crisis of local materials,local architecture and local culture.In view of the above problems,this study involves the local materials from the perspective of environmental media,and discusses the transformation and rule of the local materials in Huizhou residential buildings as a typical symbol of Chinese culture.First of all,through the investigation of twelve residential villages in Huizhou,such as Xidi,Hongcun,Chengkan,Lucun,Tunxi,Tangmo and Xucun,this paper analyzes the relationship among local materials,natural environment,history and culture in Huizhou's residential buildings from the perspective of the environmental media caused by local materials and their pertinence and locality.Secondly,through the natural medium analysis of the characteristics of Huizhou residential buildings,such as the color,shape and so on,to find out the overall relationship with the natural environment.Combined with the successful cases of contemporary architects using local materials,this paper expounds the technical means of local materials to adapt to the changes of the times,uses the design methods and new technologies of local materials such as disassembly,deformation,reorganization and exaggeration to produce new building models,and excavates the cultural connotation of buildings.Thirdly,from the perspective of humanistic media,this paper analyzes the place spirit and space spirit that the development of folk houses contains rich site selection culture,Hui business culture and other humanistic culture.Finally,from the perspective of space medium,it explores the application of modeling elements,the change of local materials and the overall pursuit of space atmosphere.This paper discusses the specific forms of local materials as environmental media: the integration of natural media-local materials and architectural environment,the cultural texture formed by historical precipitation,the characteristics and development of spatial media-architectural form,and analyzes the overall relationship between environment,materials,architecture and human beings.To sum up,this paper draws the following conclusions: Based on the environmental media,the local materials of Huizhou Folk Houses integrate nature,humanity and spaceand condense in the humanistic concept,artistic expression and technical means;based on the environmental elements,the paper examines the media nature of the local materials,which is manifested in three aspects: the natural medium,the humanistic medium and the spatial medium;as the environmental media,the local materials are constructed and integrated cultural atmosphere evolved into the overall pursuit of multiple experience in contemporary architecture,and expressed the overall connection of environment,humanity,space,architecture and human.
