Because in the modern manufacturing industry,the speed of product innovation has been greatly improved.At the same time,with the development of society,many people have different degrees of mental trauma and physical injury in the accident: for example,lower limb injury,serious need to face amputation to survive.However,the traditional manufacturing methods of artificial lower limbs are basically manufactured by unified standardized design,and the cycle from design to manufacturing is relatively long,and it can not meet people's deep psychological needs.Reverse design is an innovative or improved design process based on the characteristics of the original object model structure.This method not only retains the structural characteristics of the original model,but also can discard the unreasonable parts to optimize the product function.At the same time,reverse engineering technology can also improve the work efficiency of designers to reduce the development time of products.Based on the reverse engineering technology,this paper first introduces the basic theory of the reverse engineering software alias and its application in the design process,then expounds the related principles of the reverse engineering technology and the relationship between the artificial lower limbs and the reverse engineering design,as well as the important technical means such as data collection,data processing and model reconstruction in the reverse design process.In this paper,reverse engineering technology as an important means of product design.At the same time,reverse engineering technology has been applied in other fields,such as transportation,aerospace,automobile,electrical and other industries.It is hoped that in the future social development,reverse engineering technology can have a better development in the field of artificial lower limb design,so that it has certain practical significance and value.
