Recently,there are more and more high filled embankments of airports,which not only improves the development of local economy,makes the traffic convenient,but also supports the emergency aid when disaster happening,ensures the safety of our country.As the height of high filled embankments of airports comes to greater,the volume comes to larger,the consistence of fill comes to be more complex,it leads to different settlement that do harm to the safety and stability of airports.Therefore,it is significant to do research on post-construction settlement of high filled embankments of airports.The measured data is the comprehensive reflection of high filled embankment settlement and is the necessary mean to study the deformation mechanism and measure the quality standard of high filled embankment construction.Compared with other infrastructures,such as railway,dam,bridge,subway and so on,the airport's automatic lever of monitoring is lower.So it is of great importance to study the automatic monitoring system of high filled embankments of airports.In this paper,two monitoring methods are proposed to monitoring the surface subsidence of hill filled embankments of airports and a practical computation method for high filled embankment's post-construction settlement is also proposed.The following findings were drawn from the research:(1)Base on the theory of communicating vessels,an automatic monitoring system of surface subsidence is proposed.Verification tests of indoor and outdoor were put into practice.The results show that this automatic monitoring system is feasible.(2)An automatic monitoring method that combines the georobot with BDS is proposed.A monitoring scheme is proposed based on Chengde airport.The total station monitoring experiments were carried out,which prepares for the following automatic monitoring method.(3)A practical computation method of high filled embankment post-construction settlement is proposed.The practical computation method is verified with the observed data from Chengde airport and the results show that it is able to get credible prediction of post-construction settlement.
