According to the data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers,the number of electric vehicles has increased by an average of 500,000 annually in the past six years,and the growth trend is graduallyaccelerating.Electric vehicles are driven by electricity,and the fault mainly centers on the three-power system,such as the use-cost,charging,range,energy efficiency management,high voltage leakage,collision short circuit etc.,which are the problems that the electric vehicle industry must face.Fuel automobile has a perfect after-sales service system,the corresponding technical standards of maintenance industry and the training system for maintenance personnel.And theelectric vehicles have their unique power system composition,however,maintenance industry technical standards and the training system for maintenance personnelis still in the development stage.Therefore,it's extremely difficult for the technicians to accurately judge and troubleshoot the abnormalities in the process of the electric vehiclesmaintenance because of thepervasive technical barriers.The research on fault detection and diagnosis methods of electric vehicle power system is conducive to improving the efficiency of fault detection and diagnosis,ensuring the quality of maintenance,improving the safety factor of electric vehicles,and is of great significance to promoting the development of electric vehicle maintenance industry.In this paper,the common faults are analyzed and summarized in detail,and the fault characteristics and causes of each system are summarized based on the analysis of the background,significance,and current situation of fault detection and diagnosis of electric vehicles,combining the structure and working principle of electric vehicle power battery,battery management and high voltage control,power drive and control,power cooling,etc.This paper classifies the common faults of electric vehicle power battery,battery management,power drive,power plant cooling,high and low voltage power supply management and control system,and summarizes the fault types of temperature,voltage,current and insulation.By analyzing the specific characteristics of each fault type,this paper summarizes and studies the methods of fault detection and diagnosis applicable to electric vehicles,such as the combination of data list and tree graph,closed-loop path data detection,fault model simulation analysis and so on.And electric cars to typical fault cases as the carrier,to build the basic fault diagnosis and data analysis,fault accurately exclude work,to explore the safety operation theory knowledge and maintenance industry standards,protect the personal safety and maintenance vehicles to work properly,for further research of electric automobile repair industry standardization,standardization of the maintenance process to provide theoretical basis,and provides the resources for the maintenance technician,to solve the problem of insufficient electric vehicle maintenance and repair personnel training has a realistic significance.Finally,this paper introduces fault cases,analyzes fault types and characteristics,and verifies the feasibility of the proposed fault detection and diagnosis method by using simulation equipment and practical training platform for testing.The results provide the necessary technical support for the maintenance technicians of the fuel vehicles in the process of fault detection and diagnosis of the electric vehicles.
