The high-speed centrifugal air compressor has high technical content,can provide clean,relatively dry and oil-free quality air,has the advantages of large flow rate,high rotating speed,compact structure,less floor area,uniform exhaust gas,stable operation,less wearing parts,convenient adjustment and the like,and is widely applied to various fields of petroleum,chemical,pharmaceutical,metallurgy,textile,shipbuilding,electric power and automobiles,and is an extremely key equipment in the public engineering system of enterprises.During actual use,the high-speed centrifugal air compressor will have a variety of faults,and the cause of these faults is varied,except for the common factors such as design,manufacture and the like.There are also a number of different reasons due to differences in the use of the environment.In this paper,the rotor vibration of two high speed centrifugal air compressors,high exhaust temperature and motor faults in the air compression station of a medium-sized petrochemical company in China frequently lead to the unit shutdown.The failure rate is the highest in three aspects.By means of descriptive research method,investigation method,observation method,experience summary method and so on,the causes of unit design,using environment and operation method are analyzed,and the transformation of self-cleaning filter at the inlet of the unit is deeply discussed.Material upgrading of intercooler tube bundle,spray of Teflon coating on impeller,laser cladding of impeller triangular shaft,intercooler the inner wall of the shell is internally provided with anti-corrosion treatment,the circulating water inlet pipe is additionally provided with a high-frequency high-energy oil-water processor and a back-flushing pipeline and a valve,the motor is added with a simple external thin oil station,the operation method and the like are improved in combination with practical operation experience,and the like,so as to eliminate faults such as large rotor vibration,high exhaust temperature,and the like,and greatly prolong the stable running time of the unit and achieve remarkable effects :The intermediate cooler has been continuously used for 2 years after the above-mentioned measures have been taken,which has not occurred because of the high exhaust gas temperature required to clean or replace the intermediate cooler tube bundle,which is much better than that of the previous intercooler tube bundle for 2 years and half a year,and the exhaust temperature is often higher in summer.After the inlet filter has been changed to self-cleaning filter,it has been continuously used for 14 months,which saves a great deal of manpower and material resources compared with the previous filter screen cleaning and half a year replacement.After comprehensive application of various measures,the continuous and steady operation time of the unit reaches 211 days to 300 days.It is proved that these measures are effective and ensure the long period safe operation of the unit and provide strong support for the safe and stable production of the company.
