The Application Of Zen Elements In The Architectural Design Of Buddhist Culture

As an important school of Chinese Buddhism,zen is also the product of the combination of Buddhism and Chinese local culture.It contains the essence of cultural thought rooted in the land of China,and its reflected ideological connotation and aesthetic characteristics have exerted profound influence on the development of Oriental classical garden landscape and architectural design.The theme of this design is to express the buddhist culture.On the basis of extracting the elements of the zen culture,it is applied to the design of the zen villa,and the application methods and forms of the elements of the zen culture in architecture and landscape design are discussed.This paper mainly consists of two parts: the graduation project topic selection and the realization scheme and the theoretical thinking on the application of zen elements in the design of buddhist cultural architecture.The first part mainly expounds the topic selection,purpose and significance of the graduation project,summarizes the trends of related topics in this field,proposes research methods,and explains the design of zen retreat villa from the aspects of project overview,design conception,design concept,design principles and scheme display.Elements in the second part is the zen in Buddhism culture theory thinking and expounded the application in architectural design,from zen culture element analysis,application methods and application value were discussed,summarized the zen culture elements used in architecture and landscape design methods and forms,hope for the future related theory research and practice has a certain reference value and significance.
