Real-time simulation is an important means of dispatching operation,planning and design,and experimental analysis of power system.With the increasing complexity of the power system structure,the requirements for real-time simulation computing capabilities are getting higher and higher.The FPGA-based real-time digital solver(FRTDS)encapsulates commonly used arithmetic expressions and functions in the micro-processing core,and can be controlled by instructions to perform fine-grained parallel simulation operations.However,buffer queues in microprocessor cores limit the simulation performance of FRTDS.The FRTDS-based power system simulation modeling process is embodied in the simulation script.In order to expand its simulation scale and improve engineering applicability,this paper has done the following work:A new FRTDS based on data combination instruction stream is proposed,which effectively improves the hardware resource utilization and simulation efficiency of FRTDS.The multi-valued parameter method is used to represent some elements in the external characteristic equations of each device.The internal equivalent method of the interval unit model is discussed.The multi-value equivalent admittance and multi-valued voltage coefficient addressing method are designed to effectively reduce the seriality of the simulation script.In the solution stage of network equations,the sparsity and local symmetry of the node admittance matrix are fully utilized.The adverse effects of asymmetric elements and nonlinear elements on node elimination calculation are analyzed,which effectively reduces the computational complexity of the simulation script.The optimal node elimination order problem is proposed by using the shortest execution time of the simulation script as the optimization target and solved by genetic algorithm,which improves the efficiency of network equation solving.According to the proposed method of reducing the seriality and calculation time of the simulation script,a software for generating the electromagnetic transient simulation script of the power system is developed.The user can automatically complete the simulation modeling by providing relevant information of each device in the network.The IEEE 14-node test system is an example to verify the validity and accuracy of the generated simulation script and FRTDS based on data combination instruction flow.
