Study On The Suitability Strategy Of Architectural Design Of Mountainous Residential District

China is a mountainous country,with mountainous area accounting for as much as 69% of the total land area of the country and 50% of cities and towns locating on mountain land.The construction of mountainous cities is more complicated than that of plain cities because of the complex topography and landforms,rich and diverse natural environment,as well as the considerations in functional layout,transportation organization,environmental treatment and others.The special geographical marks of the architectural design that based on the mountain suitability make the design results different from that in other regions,and also create the richness,interest and diversity of mountainous city architecture.The construction of residential land has become an important part to determine the image of the city and the quality of human settlements.While building a good living environment of residential buildings in mountainous cities,through the integration with the regional environment,the inheritance of historical culture,the dialogue between architecture and topography as well as the integration with the consciousness of natural environmental protection in the whole life cycle,the harmony and unification of architecture and environment can be achieved in an all-round way,which creates a comfortable and green living environment and shapes the personalized landscape of mountain cities.From the perspective of suitability,this paper,with residential buildings as the research object,intends to discuss the interaction between architecture and environment in mountainous cities,and taking Chongqing project which was designed and managed by the author as an example,it will explore how to achieve the suitability of the local mountain terrain transformation in the design activities of building the quality of human settlements.Chongqing is a typical mountainous city in China,with rich and diverse topography,typical climatic characteristics and long cultural history.The local architecture has formed its own unique style,and gradually formed its own unique mountainous architectural culture.Taking Tiandiyuan Chongqing Shuimojiangshan Project as an example,this paper introduces the general situation and design background of residential district projects in mountainous cities from the perspective of architectural design and design management,analyzes carefully topographic conditions,surrounding environment,topographic features,supporting conditions of municipal public facilities,as well as the regional climatic characteristics,so as to explore Chongqing’s local natural environment and regional culture,and establish the relationship between local cultural environment and architecture.This paper particularly analyzes the local traditional architecture,studies the strategies and design methods of traditional architecture in dealing with the integration between architecture and terrain,summarizes relevant experience and guides the architectural design of the Shuimojiangshan project.In the design and practice of Tiandiyuan Shuimojiangshan Residential District Project,the author takes the relevant theories of architecture as the benchmark,and fully participates in the whole process of project planning and architectural design as the architectural design manager.Based on the general layout,architectural form,vertical design,traffic organization,climate adaptability,and regional culture of Tiandiyuan Shuimojiangshan Residential District Project,this paper discusses the suitable design strategy of residential buildings in mountainous cities,which combines the typical natural environment and cultural characteristics of local areas.From the perspective of coordination of urban environment,construction site and architectural design,it explores the design methods of adapting measures to local conditions,protecting natural resources and adapting to the natural environment.From the analysis of economic rationality of residential buildings in mountainous cities,it explores the harmonious unity of site characteristics and architectural individuality in mountainous cities.
