In the face of the increasing ship tonnage and the busy ship transport,the capacity and service levels of channel are affected.It is conducive to ensuring the traffic efficiency and navigation safety of the channel.In this thesis,considering the characteristics of ship traffic,a ship domain model based on the forward ship speed has been proposed,the cellular automaton model of the ship traffic flow in the straight section of navigation waterway has been established.The model has been verified the by actual navigation data and analyze the impact on traffic characteristics of different ship domain and ship size were discussed.According to the actual situation of ship navigation,combined with shipping safety rules,considering the safe spacing of ships,based on the principle of cellular automata modeling,a two-way traffic flow simulation model for commutating segments was established: the actual navigation data of the Great Canal was used to verificate the model.On this basis,combined with the concept of ship domain and parking line of sight,based on the simplified method to calculate the braking distance,the ship domain considering the relative speed was analyzed.Through simulation,the influence of ship domain,ship size and channel bottleneck on channel traffic flow was analyzed.The results show that the ship domain model with good fitting in the free flow stage and thedifference is more significant in the high-density traffic flow state.The ship model verified by low-density traffic flow could not used for simulation analysis of highdensity traffic flow directly.Under different ship sizes,the navigation speed distribution of the navigation channel is small.For different ship types,the minimum speed of the ship is small.It is about 5km/h,which is consistent with the research results of the minimum rudder effect of the seagoing vessel,which further verifies the accuracy of the model;when part of the channel is occupied,the influence of the traffic bottleneck and the difference of the propagation range in different ship fields are taken when the ship takes When the value of ship domain is small,it is more conducive to the control of the blockage in the wide range of the channel and the dissipation of the bottleneck.On the one hand,the ship field model considering the relative speed is more in line with the development trend of ship navigation in the future,and on the other hand,it also helps to improve the traffic efficiency and safety of the channel.
