In recent years,as the development of science and technology,the country has been advocating modern technologies such as environment protection,intelligentization,and big data.Due to the advantages of clean,renewable,pollution-free,etc.,the proportion of hydro power in the power supply is getting higher.But there are still many problems in the operation of hydropower station,such as remote location,tough working conditions,basic workers’ lack of working knowledge,diversity of the plant,the limitation and regional restriction between stations,etc..Based on the project of Dongfang Electric Co.,Ltd.,this paper took hydroturbines of its hydropower station in operation as research object,and took its characteristics of business development as well as the requirements of today’s informatization into consideration,developed a set of operation maintenance system featuring remote monitoring by combining advanced technologies such as computer technique,cloud service,artificial intelligent(AI)and so on.This set of system could connect manufacturing and operation,share data and improve the performance of hydroturbine through problems occurred in operation.In this way,operation of hydropower station through big data,remote monitoring and control of equipment at stations and fault diagnosis and prognosis could be achieved.The specific works are as follows:Study the data communication method of the remote monitoring system of the hydropower station turbine centered on the cloud server,including the development of the C/S mode to implement the communication interface between the PLC and the local server through the Modbus TCP protocol,and the VPN method to complete the communication between the PLC and the cloud server Data communication,at the same time using ADO.NET technology to save the data to the cloud server,developing the data communication between the mobile user and cloud server in the B/S mode of Web Service.Study the upper-level software of the hydropower station’s turbine remote monitoring system,including cloud server configuration selection,database comparison selection,and system software development.The development of system software includes data management,user management,system management,remote control interface,C/S-based.EXE file generation,B/S-based Web system is released on the cloud server,and finally complete the entire mixed mode software.Verification of the performance of the intelligent expert system and system cloud server embedded in the Elman neural network,including analysis of the vibration data of a certain type of turbine under variable speed,variable excitation,and variable load,and increasing the number of users of the cloud server to test whether it is normal run.
