To better meet the potential requirements of customers,the implicit requirements of customers which are based on the demands is proposed.The life cycle of product can help designers to identify the value positioning of the product accurately,so as to better use the law of technological evolution and its route to mine the implicit requirements.The main value parameter(MPV)plays an important role in mining the implicit requirements of customer.In the process of product designing,the designer’s position on the design is to understand the various attributes of the product deeply.Therefore,the mapping process of the implicit demand-product attribute-principle plan is established to create a relationship between the implicit requirements of mining and the attributes of each product.Taking the product attributes as the core of analyzing problem,and construct a product attribute function model.we construct a product attribute function model to analyze the causes of the key issues.Analyzing the key cause of the problem,and use the TRIZ solving tool to achieve the innovation of principle.The main contents of the study include the following three aspects:1.Mining and screening the hidden requirements.Identify the prototype product,analyze its functional model,and identify the problems in the model.Determine the life cycle of prototype products by searching and analyzing the relevant patents,and then determine the laws of technological evolution and routes.Made technical predictions to the prototype products according to the route of technological evolution,and identify the initial hidden customer needs of prototype products.From the perspective of customers,MPV is mainly a process of mining implicit demand from the market analysis and customer’s emotions.The R&D personnel summarize and sort out the requirements which are excavated from two areas to generate questionnaires,screen them through the returned visits,and determine the final implicit demand.2.Building the functional model of product attributes,identify the root cause of the problem,and generate the schematic plan.To analyze and solve the implicit customer needs,we need to start from the product attributes,build the product attribute function model,study its attributes,parameters,values,functions and causalities,identify the root cause of the problem,and generate the principle using theTRIZ solving tool.3.Taking the lead-acid battery coating machine as the example,the feasibility of research on designing methods of innovative product for hidden customer needs is verified.From the actual coating situation of the coating machine,the coating process is analyzed,and the implicit customer demand is determined through technical prediction and corporate research.Starting from the product attributes,the property function model of the plaster hopper and the detection device is constructed,analyzed,and solved the implicit needs of coating machine with the TRIZ tool to obtain an innovative scheme of the coating machine,which demonstrates the effectiveness of the design of product innovation for the implicit customer demand.
