Autonomous driving is a hot research topic in the field of transportation, and people highly expect it.Autonomous driving aims to improve road safety, reduce traffic congestion, gas emis sions and fuel consumption(CEC,2011);autonomous driving technology has the potential to fundamentally change road traffic and improve quality of life.By allowing drivers to perform alternative tasks and ensuring mobility for everyone, including the elderly and people with disabilities:autonomous driving technology promises to reduce the number of accidents caused by human error, improve traffic flow efficiency, and improve comfort(Fagnant&Kockelm an 2015;Mui&Carroll:2013).But at a time when technology is making rapid progress, discussions of human factors seem to have stalled. Many researchers have mentioned the human factor, especially the importance of human trust in machines, but domestic researchers have not responded enthusiastically. This article intends to provide some perspectives of human factors for autonomous driving technology through two studies. The questionnaires were distributed online and 377 samples were retrieved,of which the effective sample size was 360.Examined the compatible validity of the newly constructed questionnaire and calculated the correlations between the autonomous driving trust attitude scale and MDSI-C(Chinese version of multidimensional driving style inventory)with IBM SPSS 19-0.The results of research 1 are:(1)The revised scale has a total of 29 items in 5 dim ens ions(function commit meat, security trust, risk questioning, willingness to use,and willingness to purchase). The internal consistency reliability of the scale is 0.840,and the internal consistency of all dimensions are above 0.70,which meets the basic requiemeents of questionnaire revising, and is a qualified tool for measuring the drivers' trust attitude towards autonomous driving technology;(2)Gender,level of education, driving mileage and age are demographic factors that are significantly related to one or more dimensions in the autonomous driving trust attitude scale. The results of research 2 are:(1)Scores on the safety dimension in MDSI-C is significantly negatively related to the scores on the safety trust dimension in the automated driving trust attitude scale;(2)The scores on the dimen, sions of anxiety and pain reduction in MDSI-C are significantly positively related to the scores on the dimensions of willingness to use in the autonomous driving trust attitude scale;(3)There is no significant correlation found between the scores on the risk dimension in MDSI-C and the scores on the dimension of willingness to use in the autonomous driving trust attitude scale. The final conclusion including but not limited to:(1)Young drivers have stronger will of using autonomous driving;(2)Drivers with higher educational have higher recognition for the capabilities of autonomous driving;(3)It is important to increase the drivers' knowledge about autonomous driving.(4)When producing real items, producers should lower its(autonomous driving)enjoyment and increase its comfort.
