The crane is an important tool and equipment to realize the mechanization and automation of production process in hoisting and conveying industry,and so is in modern industry.The hook swing is inevitable in the lifting process,it is easy to reduce the efficiency of material transit or even endanger the safety of crane operation and the workers.To realize real-time monitoring of hook attitude is useful to provide the prerequisite and guarantee for the steps to stabilize hook,and it also helps to improve work efficiency and prevent contingency,so it has a great significance.On taking account of the real environment of crane operation and applying patterns of the monitoring of hook deflection,a remote monitoring system for hook's swinging angle is designed in thisthesis.The system is based on the application of internet of things,and it mainly includes four parts: data acquisition,data transmission,data calculation and data display.A method based on MEMS is presented to measure the hook's swinging angle,that is,by means of measuring the attitude angle of hook and the yaw of crane,a mathematical model to calculate for the swinging angle of hook is then established.In the system concerned,JY901 is used as sensing unit,ZigBee is uesd as wireless sensor network,3G technology is adopted to transfer data to cloud for analysis,and remote monitoring is based on B/S mode.Using JY901 nine axis sensor to acquire the data of hook's attitude,then send the data to 3G DTU module by ZigBee.The 3G DTU module transmits the data to cloud by 3G network for solving,and then the calculating result is stored into the database.If the hook's swinging angle is greater than the set alarm value,cloud sends alarm command to 3G DTU module to control its external alarm equipment for alarming.The users can conduct the timely measurement by accessing the Web.This system is easy to install and to monitor,and applies fully to the working environment of crane.So far the system has been applied to a wharf in Shanghai for real-time monitoring the hook's swinging angle in the process of crane lifting operation.
