The electrodes made of materials with low energy consumption and high quantum efficiency are urgently needed to emit unipolar charges in the electrohydrodynamic wind power generation system.Based on this,starting from the concept of Negative Electron Affinity,the preparation process of a low-work functional material electrode for flat-panel wind power generation system is studied in this paper.Firstly,the basic principle of field emission process for low power function materials is given by Quantum Mechanics,and the formation process of charged gas-liquid two phase flow,that can be used in the flat wind power generation system,coupled by water mist and unipolar charges through viscous coupling mode was discussed theoretically;Secondly,Through a large number of literature retrieval,W,CuW?W50?and AgW?W70?which have good field emission properties and high stability were selected as electrode substrates.In order to explore the effect of surface roughness and oxide layer on the material's work function,the substrates were polished before be evaporated by low work function materials,and the work function changing pattern which affected by the surface roughness and the oxide layer was achieved.Thirdly,KBH4 was used as the source of low-work function material,mixed with the high-stability metal powders Al and Ag in K:Ag?7:4?and K:Al?7:4?proportion,a low work function modifying films were prepared on the cleaned tungsten and tungsten alloy substrates by vacuum evaporation,After the evaporation,the films with a thickness of 10,20 and 30 nanometres were achieved,different evaporating parameters affecting the film quality were analyzed,and what's more,the testing results of the surface profile,composition and work function confirmed the effectiveness in reducing the work function by the film.At last,the water mist charging and collecting experiments were set up.The experimental results show.the thicker the oxide layer and the greater the roughness is,the higher the work function of the metal surface and the harder the electrons escape from it,therefore,substrate's surface roughness and oxide film should be reduced before modified.The surface work functions of tungsten and tungsten alloys modified by K:Ag?7:4?and K:Al?7:4?have been greatly reduced,and the film has good stability in air.In the self-built water mist charging system,the electric current generated by low power function film modified electrode is much more than unmodified electrodes.
