"Safety,environmental protection and energy conservation" is an important indicator of automobile design at present.With the continuous deterioration of the environment and the exhaustion of energy,the country has increasingly strict requirements on environmental protection and energy conservation.Traditional automobile design is subject to increasingly stringent restrictions on emissions and fuel consumption,so it has less and less space to survive.Additionally,national policies strongly support the development of new energy vehicles,and the new car manufacturers had mushroomed.However,limited by the technical bottleneck of electric vehicles,new energy vehicles are not well accepted by the public now.This paper conducts an in-depth study on the above problems.Aiming at the shortcomings like short range,long charging time and so on,this paper proposes a dual-mode electric vehicle scheme of Commuting Mode + Long Distance Mode combined with future travel scenarios.Firstly,this paper studies and analyzes the current layout of pure electric vehicles,and compares the difference between the electric vehicle based on the layout of the original fuel vehicle and the newly developed electric vehicle.This paper points out the shortcomings of the current layout of pure electric vehicles,Limited by the battery energy density,its range is smaller than fuel vehicles.Moreover,the inconvenience and long charging time limit the travel range of electric vehicles.At present,the main application area of electric vehicles is urban transportation,including electric buses,short-distance electric logistics and public commuting.Secondly,by demonstrating the feasibility of double motor and double battery arrangement and combining with the characteristics and requirements of future travel,this paper presents a dual-mode electric vehicle layout plan that is Commuting Mode + Long Distance Mode,which is conducive to solving the problems of short range and slow charging.This layout combines the advantages of charging mode and power changing mode and it can promote the standardization and serialization of battery packs and make important contributions to the maintenance and recycling of batteries.Finally,the matching calculation and simulation verification of the power system parameters of the dual-mode pure electric vehicle are carried out.When the supporting facilities of electric vehicles are completed,a series of problems existing in charging mode,power changing mode and battery recycling can be well solved.The dual-mode electric vehicle layout scheme not only achieves environmental protection and energy saving,but also solves the problem of long-distance travel,improves customers' recognition of electric vehicles.
