The vehicle bus is an important transmission medium for automotive network communications,if the bus is abnormal,it will affect the entire automotive network and directly threaten the safety performance of the vehicle,therefore,the performance testing of the vehicle bus is an important means to ensure the safety of the vehicle.This peper through the CAN FD bus related protocol and the current vehicle bus test research design and develop a set of CAN FD automated test system based on VT platform.The system can complete the CAN FD bus test quickly and efficiently,which solves the shortcomings of previous tests,such as low efficiency and poor reusability.The research content and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.Through analyzing the characteristics of CAN FD bus protocol and test requirements,the test contents of CAN FD bus are summarized;Through the research of the existing vehicle bus test methods,the problems existing in the test process are summarized,and a set of CAN FD bus automated testing system is designed and developed.2.With VT System as the hardware base,combined with other testing equipment,the CAN FD bus automation testing platform is built,and the test execution flow is designed.3.Using the object-oriented design method,the test system software management platform was designed and developed using C# language,the platform has different functional modules and can realized human-machine interface interaction and data interaction;Using the modular design method,according to the CAN FD bus protocol,a test case script that satisfies the CAN FD bus network communication,network management,and diagnostic Diagnostic Trouble Code was designed and developed using CAPL language,and automated testing was implemented.4.Through the electronic control unit of a vehicle model as a test object,the CAN FD bus automation test system designed and developed is tested to verify the test efficiency of the system,compared with the manual test.
