In recent years,the aviation industry develops rapidly.More and more things need to transport by air.So the air traffic flow is growing quickly day by day.That makes the TCAS(Traffic Collision Avoidance System)very important in the area of flight safety.At the same time,in order to make the working condition of TCAS normal and stable,running a series of tests on it is also important.But the test standard issued by ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization)is so much.The test content is becoming more and more complex.As a result,the traditional test method can't satisfy most of the TCAS test content.Therefore,it is very important to develop a device for testing TCAS.Also,the software of the device plays an important role for making the device support more test standards and test contents.This paper has completed the upper computer software design of a TCAS test equipment,which can provide certain reference for the relevant researchers to design and develop TCAS equipment and its test equipment.This software in accordance with the modular idea,strictly follow the software development process.And the main contents are as follows:(1)Based on the understanding of the working principles of secondary radar,TCAS system and ADS-B system,this paper analyze the signal format and data encoding mode of air-to-air communication and ground-to-air communication.This paper also summarize the parameters and contents needed to be set for TCAS scene simulation test,transponder test and other test modes.(2)Combined with similar test equipment,detailed demand analysis was carried out on the software,and the modular idea was used to design the function of the software into several modules,including user interface module,signal transceiver module,coder and decoder module,database module and remote control module.Each module works independently.Using component method makes the same module can be replaced by other and makes the software structure is clearer.(3)Using SCPI command to realize the remote control function.On the basis of compatibility with the command set of similar instruments,the special SCPI command of TCAS test equipment is classified,and a simple SCPI algorithm is designed for the command of such instruments.(4)Aiming at the disadvantages of high operating cost and complicated testing process of similar foreign instrument users,a software interface with good interaction is designed,and the setting of some functions is simplified or integrated.Professional testers can start to use the software without too much explanation,so as to provide good experience for testers.Finally,the paper gives a brief implement of the software which contains all the functions described in the paper.Also,the paper gives a brief test to prove that the software design is correct and reaches the expected standard.
