With the advancement of science and technology,the development of the Internet,biological recognition has been introduced into the security field,and personal identity verification with each person's biometrics is considered to be the safest and most effective way to verify the identity.Among the many biometric identification methods,fingerprint recognition technology and face recognition technology are first applied,most widely used,most practical,most mature,and most inexpensive.Traditional methods such as the use of keys,intelligent cards and digital passwords present significant risks and security risks,such as being stolen,copied,lost or forgotten.Fingerprint recognition technology and face recognition technology effectively solve those problems.The application of fingerprint and image recognition technology are realized with two methods: First,an dedicated single-function and independent computer system,that is,a system embedded inside the controlled device for specific applications,such as fingerprint gate locks,fingerprint attendance terminals,etc.In the second method,it is connected to the computer desktop application system with a flexible system structure.In this thesis,fingerprint recognition technology and face recognition technology are applied to the access control system at the same time,which increases the recordability of the system and the awareness of real-time conditions for a higher security level of the access control system.The following goals are achieved: 1.The storage and reading become more efficient.2.Simultaneous access through the database is achieved for comparison between fingerprint recognition and face recognition data.3.A dual identity authentication management systemis realized.The identification technology required by the system mainly guarantees the safe and stable operation of the system via both hardware and software.The paper mainly discusses the hardware and software design and applications of the access control system.The overall structural design of the system design is identified,fingerprint acquisition and image acquisition equipment are reasonably used,and a database is builtto reduce the impact of human factors on the access control system.Firstly,the working principle of the access control gate,the system hardware design and implementation methods are introduced and explained mainly in seven parts: MCU control unit,power management unit,motor control and drive unit,automatic door limit position detection unit,RS232 interface communication unit,access status control unit,and access status display unit.Secondly,the system software design and implementation methods are introduced,primarily including ideas about face recognition system,fingerprint recognition system,lower computer communication,database reading and writing,and software implementation methods.Facial image information and fingerprint information of users are stored in a database.When a user arrives at the gate in the identification area,facial recognition is performed: the camera captures the facial image feature,extracts the image features and compares to the database information,and the finger is placed on the identifier to collect the fingerprint for comparison with database information,and the gate openswhen the two comparisons are successful.The information is recorded and the previous operation is returned to if either comparison fails.
