With the constant speed railway,increasing testing requirements for railway track.Rails and turnouts,as railway track components,are directly in contact with train wheels,and their safety is very important.At present,manual inspection is still the main method of railway track detection in China,which has some shortcomings,such as low detection accuracy,low efficiency and poor digital management.Generally,a traditional detection tool can only detect a corresponding parameter,and most of them are planar detection,with low efficiency and accuracy.In recent years,with the rapid development of information technology,machine vision technology has been widely used in the field of detection.Machine vision technology used in railway track detection not only ensures the accuracy,but also improves the efficiency.It can also obtain a large number of track contour data,which is convenient for later digital management and data mining.Therefore,the 3-D detection technology based on machine vision is of great significance for the study of railway track detection parameters.In this paper,the optical 3-D measurement technology has been studied in depth.Aiming at the orbital optical 3-D measurement system developed independently,many factors affecting the measurement accuracy of the optical 3-D measurement system had been analyzed.Including: the influence of the number of shooting plates and environmental illumination on the calibration accuracy,the influence of point cloud stitching accuracy on the 3-D contour,the influence of point cloud filter size on the point cloud contour accuracy and the influence of rail and switch rail test point cloud longitudinal length on the ICP registration accuracy,etc.At the same time,the profile parameters of rail of 60 and No.9 turnout were studied,and the detection parameters of rail and switch rail cross section were expanded,such as the wearing depth of rail head and maximum wear of rail head,etc.The change curve of the detection parameters along the longitudinal direction of the track was added,and the visualization of the section profile parameters was realized.Aiming at the research content,railway track measurement tests had been carried out in the laboratory and on-site.The data of the traditional measurement method and the self-developed measurement system were analyzed.The results showed that the measurement data of the self-developed measurement system was more in line with the actual conditions of the railway track,and the ideal detection accuracy was obtained,which meet the detection standard.This method is superior.
