With continuance of urbanization process in China,rail transportation has become an important subsystem of the current urban transportation network.Rail transportation mainly serves the city and generally runs through densely populated areas of the city.It brings convenience to urban personnel while also causing certain noise pollution to residential areas along the line,which has serious impact on the health of urban residents.At present,the main measure to solve traffic noise problem is to set a noise barrier on both sides of the line.In fact,noise is a kind of green energy that is often neglected.As energy harvesting technology becomes more and more popular,using noise energy to achieve both noise reduction and power generation will be a significant research topic.Therefore,this paper carries out the design and simulation research of the noise barrier along rail transportation.The proposed noise barrier can achieve both noise reduction and power generation,and utilizes the energy of the noise continuously generated by the urban rail transit.Also,it can optimize the function of the traditional noise barrier,and has a high theoretical research significance and environmental benefits to promote the sustainable development of rail transportation in China.The main research work of this paper is as follows:First,the overall design and modular design of the proposed noise barrier system.Based on the research of literature,a feasible structure scheme of the noise barrier is proposed,and the structure layout and working principle of the scheme are expounded.The noise acquisition input module,the sound pressure amplification module,the power generation module and the energy storage module of the noise barrier are completed by adopting the idea of modular design.Second,the noise barrier system modeling and performance simulation.The model of noise barrier is established by using SolidWorks software,and the acoustic-electrical conversion characteristics of the noise barrier are theoretically analyzed.The simulation model of noise barrier is established in Comsol Multiphysics 5.3 finite element analysis software.The acoustic-electric field characteristics of the system are simulated under different input acoustic excitation and different structural modeling conditions.The simulation results show that the output voltage of the noise barrier tends to increase with the increase of the incident sound pressure.For the noise frequency of rail transportation,the system performance is better.Finally,the noise barrier prototype production and experimental research.In order to verify the principle feasibility and master the performance of the noise barrier designed in this paper,a prototype of the noise barrier is fabricated.Combined with the experimental conditions of the Institute of Thermal Power and Automotive Engineering in Southwest Jiaotong University,the acoustic-electrical conversion characteristics of the noise barrier under different input acoustic excitations and different structural modeling conditions are analyzed.The final experimental conclusions are consistent with the simulation conclusions.Therefore,through the prototype production and experiment,the expected function of the proposed noise barrier is initially realized.
