In recent years,with the continuous expansion of cities and the increasing population of cities,the transportation networks of major cities have become more and more complex.As an indispensable part of the transportation network,street lamps consume a lot of energy while providing lighting for pedestrians and vehicles.Electrical energy.The reason is mainly due to the backwardness of street lighting control technology and the lack of effective management.The problem of power conservation must be improved today in promoting environmental protection.This paper focuses on the intelligent regulation of street lamps in view of the problem of wasted electricity when the street lights are still highlighted when some roads are unmanned.At present,the street lamp control system is mainly based on the PC side,and has the disadvantages of being difficult to control in real time.Therefore,it is necessary to control the street lamp in real time according to the traffic flow of the person to achieve a power saving control system.Compared with the traditional streetlight control system,the streetlight control system based on the improved Surendra algorithm designed and implemented in this paper uses FPGA as the control center,uses image processing technology to obtain human and car information in real time,and can dynamically control streetlights according to the flow of people.as follows:(1)An improved Surendra background update algorithm is proposed.For different scenarios,the algorithm establishes different background models to describe the different distribution of pixel values,and uses the weighted sum of pixel mean and standard deviation as the adaptive threshold to perform adaptive filtering and moving target detection.The algorithm can effectively reduce the misjudgment of the foreground when the moving target is detected,and solve the problem that the traditional Surendra algorithm cannot accurately extract the moving target in different scenarios.(2)There is an error between the moving target image area and the real scene moving target area after the background difference,and an area weighting method is proposed.According to the depression angle acquired by the camera,the weight is defined,and the weight and the information of the slope image collected by the camera are used to obtain the effective area of the real moving target on the road,and the size of the vehicle flow is obtained.(3)Design and implement a smart street light system based on the improved Surendra algorithm.The system consists of a CMOS image acquisition unit,a background storage unit Flash,a real-time image storage unit SDRAM,an FPGA core control unit,a ZigBee wireless transmission unit,and a C52 single-lamp control unit.The street lights are dynamically regulated according to the size of the traffic.
