Research On Cost Control Of Engineering Projects Under EPC Mode

With the continuous development of China's construction industry,In the past ten years of rapid development,The traditional construction general contracting business has been greatly improved and tends to mature,and some enterprises have even reached maturity.The standardization,specialization and scientization of project management are gradually formed.In the future development direction of construction industry,EPC mode has gradually entered the market,some regions and owners are trying to apply EPC mode.Although the EPC model still needs to be further promoted in the whole market,the transformation from the general contractor to the general contractor is the only way for the future development.In the process of transformation,as the first essence of an enterprise is to make profits,so how to control the project cost under the EPC mode becomes the primary research issue for the purpose of doing a good job in the EPC project.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of EPC mode and traditional project as well as the characteristics of cost control,studies the current cost control status of EPC project,stands at the angle of mastering the overall situation,and combines the early warning mechanism with systematic Scientific and standard construction of EPC project cost control early warning system model.The purpose is to find out the problems of cost control in advance through the monthly early warning mechanism,so as to avoid greater losses to the project.Through the case analysis,the practice in the case is compared with the cost control system management,which proves that the project cost control under EPC mode should use the cost control system more.In this paper,through the research and construction of EPC project cost control early warning system model,the purpose is to improve the profitability of project management,build the core competitiveness of enterprises,and provide reference for the application of EPC mode in China.
