| Along with advances of society and technology,human activities have resulted in worsening of the environment and threatened exhaustion of resources.Frequent occurrence of natural disasters has sounded the alarm for people,drawing more attention to the concept of green ecology.Since China’s adoption of the reform and opening-up policy,China’s architectural decoration industry has made great strides.Despite that,a series of problems has become increasingly prominent,calling for immediate solutions.This paper consists of seven sections.Section 1 points out problems facing development of the interior design industry,such as pollution,waste,vulgarity,showiness,and disjoint from the building itself.Section 2 expounds on relevant concepts,including the emergence and development of the concept of green ecology in China and abroad as well as the content and purpose of interior design.In this section,the integration status between the green concept and the interior design industry is expounded.Section 3 emphasizes that an interior designer should cope with the relationship among,design,human,nature and time well.To be specific,effort can be made in terms of reinterpretation,retransformation,reuse,recycling and energy consumption reduction to create a healthy and ecological indoor environment.Section 4 selects eight outstanding green interior environmental design cases from the national and international dimension,respectively.The environmental characteristics and design methods adopted by these cases and which are referential are analyzed.Section 5 summarizes four defining characteristics of a green interior environment,namely comfort,economy,artistry and safety.In terms of comfort,it is measured by four dimensions,including healthy air quality,comfortable heat environment,comfortable light environment and comfortable acoustic environment.In terms of economy,it is mainly reflected as economical use of energies,materials and water.As to artistry,it is demonstrated as plain beauty of style,a natural beauty of materials and an ecological beauty of space.By safety,it is examined from the aspect of barrier-free design and interior disaster prevention and reduction.Section 6 is made up of two parts.In the first part,design methods available for the single interior environmental design are summarized.They mainly include consistent use of green materials,proper application of energy-conservation equipment,integration of outdoor environment into the interior environment,and emphasis of interior detail expression.In the second part,comprehensive design approaches to comprehensively build a green interior environment are put forward from a macroscopic perspective by examining the whole interior design project rather than a single building alone.These approaches mainly include promotion of standard and extensive cooperation,promotion of harmonious coexistence between high technology and traditional low technology,and promotion of the concept of green interior design.Section 8 Put the theory into practice and analyze the green interior environment design with the actual project.The interior environment serves as a place for humans’ daily activities.It has a close bearing on everyone.This necessitates integration of the concept of green design to interior environmental design so as to create a more environmentally-friendly,energy-conservation,healthy,and human-oriented living and working environment for people. |
