| Driven by the country’s urbanization,new rural construction has become an important way to solve rural problems in China.With the increasing impact of market economy,rural society has undergone dramatic changes,a large number of population outflow,making the rural population structure unbalanced,rural lifestyle has also undergone a major change,rural public activities are decreasing.At the same time,because of the yearning for urban life,rural material space construction presents a simple imitation and replication of urban space,leading to rural public space divorced from the actual needs of villagers.Compared with the traditional period,the current public space can not attract the occurrence of public activities,rural public life has been further weakened,rural collective cohesion has been weakened,thus triggering the permission of rural development.Multiple problems arise.Among them,the village squares are the most important or the only large public space in many villages as a common public space in the countryside.Its space construction plays a vital role in the restoration and revitalization of rural public activities.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the current characteristics and existing problems of village committees square space for the construction of rural public space and the activation of public activities.This paper takes the square of village committees of ordinary villages in Qianxian County of Guanzhong as the research object,which is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of the research,which mainly elaborates the research questions,the research object,the scope and content,the research summary,the research purpose and significance,the research methods and the paper framework.Chapter 2 collects excellent cases about the construction of village squares or similar squares at home and abroad,and studies the scale,layout,function and space environment of each case,and explores advanced design concepts and optimal design methods of excellent village squares.The third chapter studies the historical changes of the village squares in Guanzhong area,expounds the formation process of the village squares and the characteristics of the changes of the village squares in each period,expounds and summarizes the relationship between the "village squares space" and "villagers’ activities" in each period,and summarizes the factors affecting the changes of the village squares at present.Chapter 4 combs the present situation of village squares in 23 villages of 4 towns in Qianxian County through field investigation,obtains relevant data about the present situation of the space environment and use of village squares,and then interprets them as a whole,and qualitatively analyses the current situation,characteristics and use situation of ordinary villages in terms of quantity,scale,layout and space environment,combining with the influencing factors of change.The paper deduces the characteristics of space environment and villagers’ use behavior of village committees square in common villages.Chapter 5 chooses three typical villages for in-depth investigation and interviews in 23 villages of the census,focusing on the activities of villagers in the village committee square and the evaluation of the use of villagers,using quantitative analysis method,summarizes the current situation of ordinary villages from the perspective of actual investigation of villagers’ activities,and demonstrates the inferences of Chapter III.The combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis makes the conclusion more convincing.The sixth chapters aims at the current situation of village committee square in Guanzhong area,put forward the optimization strategy of the current village committee square space from two aspects of space matching and space environment.Chapter 7 is the conclusion and outlook.It summarizes the main research results of this paper,and puts forward the shortcomings of the paper and further research directions. |
