Block Structure Generation Based On The Texture Characteristics Of Traditional Settlement Space

Traditional Architecture and Settlements is the essence and representative of mankind historical and cultural heritages.Streets and Blocks are elements of matters and the cattier of spatiality in the conservation planning of Traditional Architecture and Settlements,Shows the macroscopic morphological characteristics of the settlement,delivering the continuity of spatial memory of historical material in Traditional Architecture and SettlementsThere are more than 100,000 historical settlements in various historical periods in Jiangsu Province.Many traditional architectural settlements that have not yet been protected carefully enough.The overall style of their formation with high historical value reflects the historical features of the past records as well as many historical and cultural villages.At present,traditional architecture settlements always fail to restore the overall original features of the settlements and the spatial structure characteristics correctly in their protection planning and construction practices,which may easily lead to information deficiency and even the features disappear.By thinking about the application of digital technology to the traditional building settlements protection method,this paper aims to construct a set of methods to accurately convey the information of traditional building settlements,and extract the block structure from the research content of traditional building settlement protection as the research object.The quantitative analysis of the internal growth and reconstruction law is carried out,and the information on the structural growth of the traditional building settlements in the case of Gunan is extracted.Finally,the objective and complete morphological features are restored to the information of the existing missing blocks.In the restoration and reconstruction of the West Street plot,the traditional style of the overall block structure of Gunan was inherited and preserved.
