Users Behavior Mining And Influencing Factors Analysis Based On Business Intelligence System Log Data

Facing with the dynamic external environment,the decision-making process of an enterprise is more and more complex.Many companies have invested a lot of resources to build a Business Intelligence(BI)System,but the system' s benefits can't be fully realized after implementation,In order to find the reasons behind the phenomenon,it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on the users' behavior and its Influencing Factors.Considering the phenomena mentioned above,this paper takes H company as the example.through the analysis of the current situation of the average number of visit per month and the number of used users in the company's BI system,we find the low utilization rate of the system and the weak stickiness of users.Aiming at solving the problems existing in the company,this paper proposes a solution to identify the characteristics and influencing factors of user's use behavior by data mining method,and to understand user's use intention by questionnaire.Specific practices are mentioned as below:(1)Define the concept of daily use and innovative use based on literature research.Determine users behavior measurement indicators and measurement methods;(2)Use descriptive statistical method to analyze the characteristics of users' daily use and innovative use;(3)Use association analysis to identify users' preferences on the BI system;(4)Based on the analysis of the characteristics of users' groups,classification and regression modeling are used to identify the key factors affecting users' innovative use.;(5)Questionnaire is used to find the influencing factors of the users' intention to use.The research found that:(1)in the use of BI system,routine users prefer to browse sales daily reports,market analysis,procurement analysis and other analysis reports,but innovative users focus more on sales daily reports,human resources analysis,market analysis using data drilling and customized reports;and(2)routine users and innovative users have big differences on total using time and activity;(3)The key factors affecting the innovative use behavior are the total using time,daily use times,whether the user is in a high-level position or not,and the number of functional modules used by the users;(4)In terms of the technical characteristics of BI system,report quality,data quality,data integrity and system convenience are the main factors affecting users' willingness to use Based on the findings,this paper puts forward suggestions for H company to improve system utilization and optimize system functions.
