Stainless steel not only has good corrosion resistance,but also has excellent durability.It can also adapt to high and low temperature environment.Its good mechanical properties make it have good application prospects in the future construction industry.Sandwich board has high specific strength and stiffness.Its superior stress characteristics make it widely used in various industries.Stainless steel core-plate zigzag wall,using stainless steel as raw material and honeycomb-like sandwich structure,combines the advantages of stainless steel material with the good mechanical properties and light weight characteristics of sandwich structure.As a new structural system,the study of its mechanical characteristics is still in its infancy,so this paper refers to the research methods of honeycomb sandwich structure and shear wall.Stainless steel core-plate-zigzag wall is a zigzag cross-section component composed of two stainless steel panels and orthogonal uniformly arranged stainless steel core tubes.The connection between the core tube and the panel is brazed by copper.In this paper,the bearing capacity of stainless steel core-plate-zigzag wall under axial compression is mainly studied.Four groups of stainless steel core-plate-zigzag wall specimens are designed.The bearing capacity under axial compression is studied through experiments.The experimental phenomena are introduced.The load-displacement curves and the out-of-wall deformation diagrams of the specimens are drawn.The finite element model of the first three groups of specimens was established,and the stress process and failure mechanism were studied through the finite element non-linear analysis.The influence of the parameters such as the thickness of the panel,the ratio of height to width,the outer diameter of the core tube,the wall thickness of the core tube and the distribution spacing of the core tube on the bearing capacity of the stainless steel core plate I-shaped wall under axial compression is analyzed.Firstly,the finite element eigenvalue buckling analysis is carried out,and the formulas for calculating the elastic buckling load and the corresponding regularized height-width ratio of a zigzag wall are obtained.Through the finite element non-linear buckling analysis results,the axial compression stability factor?considering the local buckling of the wall is obtained,and the bearing capacity design curve?_n is obtained.Then the formula for calculating the bearing capacity under axial compression is obtained.The results of test,finite element analysis and design formulas are compared,and the results are in good agreement,which verifies the rationality and validity of the formula for calculating the bearing capacity of stainless steel core-plate I-shaped wall under axial compression.
