With the industrialization in China marching forward,the Ministry of Transport has issued several regulations in regard to encouraging application new technology and assembly concept,thus developing the construction level of bridges.“Thoughts on the Development Strategy of Bridge Construction Technology in China” and “Guidance Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Highway Steel Bridges”,the two reports issued by the Ministry of Transport pointed out that the promotion of steel bridges and developing steel and composite girder bridges through the optimization of current structural form and construction technique of medium and small span bridges will contribute to easing the current bridge defects and the reliability issue that current medium and small span bridges are facing.Due to the fact that the bridge construction industry in Jilin Province is still in the starting stage,combining two representative expressway projects,adding assembly technology and bridge construction industrialization thinking,this essay focuses on studying the loading conditions,economic nature,and applicability of assembled steel-concrete composite girder bridges.Major work and research results are as follows.First,existing theories of material mechanics are summarized.Combing previous researches from China and abroad,computational theory and recommended computational methods of assembled steel-concrete composite girder bridges are given.Also,a simplified calculation method suitable for the engineering practice of reduction of the rigidity of main girder and the rigidity of shear nails with the centralized arrangement in the negative moment region of a continuous beam.Second,based on the characteristics of medium and small span bridges in Jilin,an assembled steel-concrete composite girder structure is deduced to be the best fit.The design method of the assembled bridge deck and the structural details are also derived,providing a reference for future engineering practices.Through the comparison of economic natures and life cycle cost of traditional small box girder bridges and assembled steel-concrete composite girder bridges,the latter has some certain advantages in the current green highway idea and industrialization construction.Third,a component design of an assembled steel-concrete composite girder bridge is conducted according to the 4×35m continuous beam bridge project in “Shuangliao to Taonan” and “Songyuan to Tongyu” highways.Loading conditions of the assembled steel-concrete composite girder bridge model is calculated via a finite element software,verifying the feasibility of conducting assembly technique into bridge construction industrialization,which provides a reference and a basis for standardization of future medium and small span bridge design.
