Landscape Recycling Design Of Abandoned Village

Abandoned villages are the product of the rapid development and progress of society as well as the rapid urbanization;they are the carrier of settlement-based culture in the particular region and a specific era;they carry the memory of rural life of a particular group;they have high value in history,culture,and environment.Therefore,the design of abandoned village landscape protecting and regenerating has become an important type of landscape design in the discipline,and an important part of ecological civilization construction.Houtouwan Village is an abandoned fishing village located in Sheng Shan Island,Shengsi County,Zhejiang Province.It has a special district and unique settlement-based culture.It carries memories of fishermen’s life and unique fishing cultures of generations.Since the village was abandoned,in the case of climate change and nature evolution,a large number of structures have become to the carrier of the natural plant growth,and formed a unique landscape,which has caused scholars and the industry to rethink about the recycling landscape design of abandoned land.Therefore,based on the background of abandoned landscape,the village landscape of Houtouwan Village regeneration design has important theoretical value for enriching landscape design discipline and cultural heritage.At the same time,as a typical representative of abandoned village,the landscape regeneration design has strong practical and demonstration significance.Based on the goal of the landscape regeneration design in Houtouwan Village,Sheng Shan Island,using the methods of literature,case analysis,site survey,comparative analysis,inductive deduction,and etc.,the background,the purpose and the significance of this topic were discussed;the abandoned landscape regeneration domestic and overseas was studied;the research content and method was cleared;the technical route was determined;the characteristics and reference of classic cases at home and abroad,such as Shandong Rizhao Phoenix,Shandong Fangzi Town,Jiangshan Fishing Village renewal practice,the Inujima Island Art Defence Fortress on Lamer Islander,and etc.,were compared and analyzed.Based on the on-site survey and research of Houtouwan Village,the internal and external environmental analysis of the design area which is the external environment analysis based on geographic location,fishing village traffic,island and fisherman cultures,resources,surrounding environment and climate,and the internal environment analysis based on the site’s internal topography,structures,internal road system,planets,facilities,and etc.The related problems were discussed;the norm,standard,and regenerative design requirements of design basis,objectives,and positioning were clarified;five principles,which are settlement culture inheritance,moderate interference,cost control,participating experience,the co-management and sharing between human and nature,and etc.,were determined;based on up-front analysis,based on up-front analysis,the design concept of “In the world taking over by the nature,fishing village settlement ruins cultural park” was proposed,which is the concept of the human settlement ruin design,in the background of the nature dominates the world,of nature regarding the human culture from the view of nature just like human regard the nature;based on the concept and goal,the overall landscape regeneration spatial layout was processed including four functional areas,entrance area,art transformation area,landscape protection area,and comprehensive entertainment service area;the regenerated planning for subsystems was designed including vertical system,planet system,traffic system,lighting system,facility system,vision system,guidance system and etc.Guided by the overall layout,based on the contents including location,scale,spatial volume,boundary,internal road and etc.,each functional area is designed minutely;from materials,volume,color and other aspects,based on the design element of architectural sketches and pavements,plants,terrains,and etc.,to do the detail design;based on the level of context inheritance,participation experience,protection,regeneration and etc.,to do the special design.The full thesis is divided into three parts or five chapters.The first part is the first and second chapters.It expounds the research background,purpose meaning,content method and technical route,analyzes the dynamic development domestic and overseas,and studies typical cases.The second part contains the third and fourth chapters which are the key points and difficulties overall.It includes the overall regeneration design and detailed regeneration design of Houtouwan Village in Sheng Shan Island.The third part is the fifth chapter which narrates conclusion and prospect,summarizing the full thesis,and looking forward to the future of the topic.
