The lack of the characteristics of the University square space, the high similarity of the style, the overemphasis on the visual perception and the neglect of the other senses of the students' bodies and other problems, show that the existing design and research of the University square space have not been fully recognized and understood on the level of the students' perception experience, which makes it difficult for the students to have a sense of identity with the University square space, thus leading to the University square space and the students They are alienated from each other.Perceptual phenomenology emphasizes the important role of body perception, the unity of perceptual subject and object, and the importance of body for space experience, which brings good inspiration and guidance for solving the problem of mutual alienation between students and University square space. Therefore, this paper takes the University square space as the research object, takes the perceptual phenomenology as the research angle of view, adopts the method of combining theoretical research and case study, studies the students' perceptual experience in the University square space from the two levels of students' static perception and dynamic perception, seeks for the essential relationship between the University square space and students, and excavates the potential charm of the University square space To stimulate students' rich perceptual experience. Finally, the relationship between the students and the University square space will be changed from the original state of alienation to the state of close connection,so as to improve the space quality of the two levels of material and spirit of the University square space.
