The high-resolution timer,as a dedicated test instrument,is mainly used for high-precision time interval measurement.It plays a very important role in satellite-to-ground timekeeping,laser time transmission,high-frequency laser ranging,and nuclear physics tests.At present,there is no complete test tool for testing and analysis of timers at home and abroad.This paper analyzes the functional requirements of the timer software based on the high-resolution timer hardware system studied,and thus studies the test analysis method of the event timer.The test analysis of the event timer in this subject is mainly based on the timer hardware platform of the two design principles of time digital conversion method and time analog conversion method.The microprocessor STM32F407 is used for programming,and the communication with the timer hardware system and the data communication with the PC application program are completed.The main research contents of this topic are as follows:1.Completed the transplantation of μC/OS_II operating system in the microprocessor STM32F407,designed the data communication program,and realized the control of the timer hardware system.And based on the design of the USB communication module,data communication with the PC application program is realized,and the measurement data is uploaded for the user to observe and analyze.2.Design the timer application program on the PC side,design the interface and appearance of the application program according to functional requirements,and call the USB dynamic link library to achieve communication.Use the multi-thread technology in Labwindows/CVI to realize the tasks of data receiving,data processing and waveform drawing.3.The external influence factors when the event timer is working are studied,and the delay error of temperature influence is tested and analyzed,and a temperature calibration scheme is proposed,after the specific implementation,the error correction of the measured data is carried out.4.The performance index of the high-resolution timer is analyzed from the aspects of single timing accuracy,integral nonlinearity,time stability,etc.The Allan variance for evaluating frequency stability was studied,and an evaluation software for the stability of the event timer at all times was designed.And save the measurement data results to the local,to achieve data persistence of the application.This topic has completed the programming of the underlying microprocessor and the test and analysis function of the PC-side application software,and after testing,the application software on the PC side realizes the work control of the timer,the data processing analysis and the drawing of the waveform on the interface,the error correction,analysis and evaluation of the measured data are carried out,and the expected effect is achieved.
