Target simulation technology is one of the main methods to test the tracking and pointing ability of weapon.This technology will simulate the target's trajectory by projecting beams of light that can actually reflect the characteristics of the target.This paper designs a target beam generation system of visible light and infrared dual band simulator.The system can generate the simulation targets of visible and long-wave infrared bands.It can also adjust the intensity and spot size of the beam according to the movement speed and distance of the simulated target,which enables the testers to visually observe the true state of the target.The system can achieve good test and demonstration effect.The main work of this paper are as follows:1.According to the design index,the optical design of the system is completed.Appropriate laser light sources are determined.In the visible band,a semiconductor laser with wavelength of 532nm and 650nm is selected,and a CO2 laser with wavelength of 10.6?m is selected in the infrared band.The principle of Gaussian beam expansions collimation and size transformation is analyzed.Lens parameters were calculated for each of the two bands.2.Combined with system requirements and mechanical design theory,the mechanical structure of the system is designed and analyzed.The chassis structure is adopted to ensure the system's dustproof performance.This paper designs a zoom lens system based on stepping motor,whose control precision is analyzed.The beam switching device is designed so that the system's ejection beam can be flexibly switched between visible and long wave infrared bands.3.The software of upper computer and the time sequence control module based on CPLD are designed.They can realize PWM modulation of the output power of the laser,laser spot size control based on stepper motor,the switching between visible and infrared laser beams,and security detection function.4.The installation and commissioning of the entire system is completed.The experimental results show that the indexes of the system can meet the design requirements.
