Dual-band target simulator is a new one in target simulation technology, various indicators of target can be simulated through the changes about different wavelengths of light energy.The apparatus has advantage of high precision and real-time emulation, it mainly used in the Hardware-in-the-Loop-Simulation technology of high simulation area.This article describes the structure and composition of infrared dual-band including1.064μm bands and3-5μm band laser target simulator,and it particularly discussed the optical system of dual-band target simulator in detail.This paper have a detailed analysis of the selecting on the3-5Lm band red light source and the theory of adjusting. This article focus on the precise adjustment process with the wavelength of1064μm laser energy and the design of dual-band target simulator. After the determination of appropriate laser light source, the moved absorption attenuation method is proposed as a way to the adjustment of laser energy and the feasibility of this method is proved through theoretical calculations. From the analysing about materials and structures of dual-band fusion and collimation outgoing, we can use three materials of ZnS, CaF, Si as optical materials and use transmission structure to optimize the optical system.Through verificating the results of experiments and theoretical analysis, the beacon of the system has been achieved the design requirements.The correction of the designed dual-band target simulator optical system is confirmed.
