Research On The Application Of ERP In The Financial Management Of BW Company

With the development of the era of knowledge economy and globalization,more and more enterprises in China have different connections with foreign enterprises.This has made the growing Chinese companies find out that the original mode of production and business philosophy has not been able to compete effectively with competitors from all over the world.Domestic enterprises want to learn from foreign advanced management ideas through the implementation of ERP.But it's not a smooth sailing.A large number of enterprises try to implement ERP,but only a few companies succeed.Domestic enterprises face "on the ERP die,not ERP die" embarrassing situation.Through the method of literature analysis,this paper expounds the concept,the course of development,the function and the key factors and steps of the implementation of ERP in detail;the necessity and feasibility of ERP in the financial management of manufacturing enterprises are analyzed;taking BW company as a case,the present situation,problems and causes of the application of ERP in the financial management of BW company are analyzed;on this basis,standing on the perspective of ERP implementation of BW company,aiming at the problems caused by the three shortcomings of ERP system before implementation,implementation and implementer,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for improving ERP system application in BW company's financial management.The research finds that,although BW has improved work and management efficiency and achieved certain economic benefits after implementing the ERP system,there are still some problems,when the ERP system is on-line,the corresponding steps are not followed;MRP system function is not enough to result in poor calculation accuracy;using only part of the modules of the ERP system;budgetary management based on ERP is not in place;ERP vendors are unable to solve the problem that the enterprise is facing.Secondly,the reasons for these problems lie in BW's lack of understanding of the ERP system;there is not enough tradeoff between multiple ERP systems when choosing a ERP system;the implementation plan of all modules of the on-line ERP system is not perfect;not recognizes the importance of ERP financial budget management module;lack of qualified personnel within the enterprise.Finally,in view of the problems caused by the lack beforethe implementation of ERP,in the implementation of ERP and ERP implementator,BW should strengthen its strategic identity and examine the software,formulate implementation plans and organize special training and recruit and train high quality compound financial managers.This paper studies the application of ERP in the financial management of BW company,and finds out the problems and its reasons in the process of implementing ERP in BW company's financial management.Accordingly,it puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions,which provides necessary guidance for BW company to solve ERP application problems in enterprise financial management,so as to better apply ERP system.At the same time,it also provides useful reference and reference for other manufacturing enterprises to apply ERP in financial management.
