Research On Inventory Management Optimization Of AM Company

The rapid development of China's auto industry,auto parts production companies in the entire automotive industry in the upper reaches of the enterprise,occupy an important position in the entire automotive supply chain.The requirements for parts and components of vehicle companies are getting higher and higher.Optimizing the inventory management of parts and components companies is one of the effective ways to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.A good inventory management can effectively speed up the turnover of corporate funds,reduce inventory costs,improve corporate economic efficiency;conversely,excessive inventory will affect the company's cash flow,increase inventory costs,reduce business economic efficiency.This paper takes AM company's inventory management as the research object,analyzes the inventory management from the theoretical point of view,mainly including the connotation,function and significance of inventory management,and expounds the traditional methods and modern methods of inventory management,mainly: ABC Taxonomy,Economic Order Quantity Model(EOQ),Vendor Managed Inventory(VMI),and Joint Inventory Management(JMI).Secondly,this paper investigates the industry,products and market conditions of AM,and analyzes the current situation of inventory management of the company.At the same time,combined with the actual situation,it points out the problems existing in the inventory management of AM company,especially the lack of strategic partnership with suppliers,high safety inventory setting,insufficient application of MRP function,and imperfect inventory management performance evaluation mechanism.In view of the inventory management problem that AM company has emerged,this paper proposes a strategic partnership with suppliers,uses quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate actual data,sets up reasonable safety stock,upgrades ERP system,and improves inventory management performance evaluation system.And other solutions.Finally,through the comparative analysis of the initial results of the implementation of the program.This paper proposes corresponding optimization solutions for AM company's inventory management problems,and achieves initial results through the implementation of these programs.It provides an effective method for auto parts manufacturers to conduct scientific inventory management in the ERP environment.Reference significance.
