Study On Optimal Utilization Of Negative Space In The Historical District

In the different stages of the development of historical blocks,there are some negative spaces which are contrary to the original material culture and spiritual culture in the block.These spaces exist not only reduces the utilization rate of the city,also affect the development of vitality block and harmonious environment,the neighborhood residents' quality of life decline,even to the human heart has a negative impact.If it is not optimized and improved in time,the number of negative space may continue to grow,thus hindering the development of historical blocks become a burden.The main research object of this paper is the negative space in historical blocks,and studies the optimal use of negative space.Firstly,based on research of negative space in historical blocks of the existing historical connotation,definition of negative space blocks are defined,and the factors are discussed from different angles;at the same time due to different forms of negative space in space and different classification and features of different negative space are summarized next,explore the optimization method of negative space from different angles with angle support.Secondly,according to the optimal use of the negative space in historical blocks,the optimization theory research is carried out from many angles,which provides the theoretical support for the next optimization method of negative space.At the same time as the historical negative space are special position,optimum principles and objectives to follow the historical blocks in the negative space optimization,has a guiding role for the next proposed negative space optimization method.Finally,according to the different types of negative space in the historic district from multi angle and multi-level is proposed by using the method of the optimization,and to Anshun Confucious' Temple historic district in the negative space as part of design practice in this paper,the main optimization methods are proposed corresponding from two angles of function and environment of Historical Street area,the formation of from theory to practice complete research system,provide support on certain basis and method of optimization design for future negative space.
