Currently,company B's transportation plan for the imported vehicles to Western China are faced with the following problems: first,the total shipping cost is high;second,the long delivery time causes the demand of the western market unable to be responded in time,resulting in the relevant shortage cost;third,the risk of quality damage in the imported vehicle transportation process is relatively high,and the frequency of major quality damage accidents is high,which not only increases the later maintenance cost of the imported vehicles.It may even bring serious economic losses.The above problems lead to poor logistics benefits of imported vehicles and low market competitiveness of imported vehicles transported to Western China.In view of the problems existing in company B's current imported vehicle transportation plan,this paper focuses on the optimization of company B's logistics plan for the imported vehicle to the Western China.First of all,this paper analyzes the current situation of B company's imported vehicle transportation and the existing problems of the transportation plan and analyzes the causes of the existing problems of the transportation plan currently.Then,combined with the characteristics of imported vehicle transportation,the problems faced by imported vehicle transported to Western China,and the relevant policies of CRexpress,this paper puts forward the idea of optimizing company B's logistics plan for the imported vehicle to Western China.At present,all imported vehicles from Germany to China are transported by deep-sea.On this basis,this paper introduces the international transportation mode of CRexpress and builds an integer planning site selection model for the VPC covering the western China,and then uses the genetic algorithm to solve site selection model to decide which city can effectively cover the western market.Finally,the optimized logistics plan of imported vehicles is compared with the current one in three aspects: shipping cost,delivery time and quality damage risk.The results show that the optimized plan has obvious improvement in these three aspects,and the logistics benefits of imported vehicles transported to Western China has increased significantly.The logistics benefits of imported vehicles transported to Eatern and Western China have been fully balanced.
