In recent years, the scale of Chinese high-speed railway network has gradually expanded and passenger flow volume has increased year by year. The huge transportation resources and booming transportation demand require higher standard for high-speed rail operations.Periodic train timetable has the characteristics of obvious regularity, convenient transfer and high service level. It is widely used in Europe and Japan and has also attracted the attention of Chinese railway departments. However, periodic train timetable is not suitable for Chinese high-speed railway network. Therefore, the design model and algorithm of high-speed railway timetable mixed with cyclic trains and no-cyclic trains have been researched in this paper, which based on Chinese high-speed railway and operation situation. This aims to propose an optimized method to organize train operation with regular and irregular trains, which is more suitable for Chinese high-speed railway situation.First of all,the concept and features of train timetable combined with regular and irregular trains were analyzed. Then the adaptability of that to Chinese high-speed rail was discussed and the design principles were confirmed at the same time.Based on the process of compiling periodic train timetable and non-periodic train timetable, the timetable design process combining regular and irregular trains is planned. After that, with reference to the existing related models, the minimum travel time is regarded as the goal, considering the basic constraints of timetable such as running time, stopping time, overtaking, safety interval and time domain, etc. At the same time, the periodic constraint is added in conjunction with the concept of periodicity. The periodic and non-periodic train timetable model under fixed stop pattern(M1)was built, which can solve both single-period problem and mixed-period problem. On the basis of M1,further considering the optimization under capacity restriction, the periodic and non-periodic train timetable model under adjustable station stop pattern(M2)was established, comprehensively taking impacts on the timetable structure and passenger service level into account.Considering the particularity of regular train and the scale of the problem, the rolling method based on greedy strategy was adopted with solution by dual time and rolling by single time, which can reduce solution scale. In order to improve solution accuracy and feasibility, heuristic iterative strategy in the solution time period has been used to solve M1 and M2 iteratively. Finally, taking Shanghai-Nanjing intercity railway as a case,Cplex and C# were adopted to solve the above problems.A full-day periodic and non-periodic train timetable was obtained according to the given line plan.Related analysis was performed to verify the feasibility of the models and effectiveness of the algorithm.Figure: 48,table: 15,references: 67.
