The degree of damage and load carrying capacity of the elevator wire rope is directly related to the safety of the passengers and property.It is necessary to detect the wire rope regularly and correctly during the using process.In order to realize the rapid and intelligent detection of elevator wire rope surface defects,this paper designs an image information detection system of elevator wire rope based on image recognition,which implements the software and hardware of the system.The basic process of detection is to acquire image by CCD camera,preprocessing the image acquisition module with DSP chip as the core,transforming analog signal into digital signal,inputing it into computer through data transmission module,completing image preprocessing and imaging feature extraction with certain algorithm,and using pattern recognition method to identify and classify the segmented unit so as to complete the analysis and judgment of elevator wire rope image.First of all,an intelligent visual inspection system of elevator wire rope state based on high-end DSP and high-definition CCD is designed.The elevator runs at the inspection speed throughout.CCD is used as the image sensor to collect the wire rope image and obtain the analog signal of image information quickly.Secondly,the improved fast algorithm of Wiener filter is used to denoise the image,while the blurred and weakened texture information is also restored.After the camera and on-chip system collecting the wire rope image,the contour is obtained through the histogram information of the image,so as to select the gray threshold value adaptively,segmenting the wire rope and the background image better to get the wire rope image.Through the appropriate filtering method,the image noise is reduced to the minimum,and then the image is sharpened and filtered to enhance the texture effect of steel wire rope and detect the edge of steel wire rope,so as to facilitate the subsequent judgment and analysis of upper computer defects.The upper computer further processes the digital image which has been preprocessed.It extracts the defect features of steel wire rope by calculating the area,cross-sectional pixel changing,straightness,connected area and other methods.Then it's to classify the detected steel wire rope defects and judge the defects by using pattern recognition methods,which gives the defect detection results,corresponding screenshots and defect location.The system gives the corresponding statistical data finally.
