Solar radiation widely exists in the space environment,including sunlight and moon reflected light.Solar radiation is one of the main causes of aerospace failures,and it has a particularly serious impact on optical systems such as cameras and telescopes.Solar radiation can affect the accuracy of the optical system,may result in serious damage to the material or structure of the spacecraft.In order to solve the problem of spacecraft being exposed to solar radiation in the space environment,it is necessary to design a new lightweight and intelligent solar shield structure.The new solar shield needs a large shading area,the deployment process is safe and stable,and the deployment state meets the stiffness requirements.This paper combines the solar shield and the space expandable mechanism.Based on the shape memory polymer composite material,it takes full advantage of the structure and materials to design a deformable solar shield structure.The space expandable mechanism has the characteristics of easy loading and large expansion ratio.The expandable space of the space shielding solar panel can have a larger shading area,while the folded state occupies a smaller carrying space,which has great engineering application value.The surface of the solar shading board adopts a corrugated board structure of a shape memory polymer composite material.The shape memory effect of the material can be used to shape the corrugated board and the solar shading board is completely folded.The corrugated board can be self-driven and unfolded when heated,so as to realize the complete cycle of deformation of the solar panel structure gathering and unfolding.The shading component of the sun shield is integrated with the driving unfolding component,and the structure is more simplified.This paper completed the design of the space-expandable solar shield of the shape memory polymer composite material and the manufacture of each solar shield component,optimized the size of the corrugated plate structure as the solar shield panel surface,and verified the locking/release mechanism The effect of improving the stability of the space expandable structure in the collapsed state.Through the finite element simulation and mechanical experiments on the solar shield structure,the safety of the solar shield structure and the reliability of the space expansion function were successfully verified.This paper finished shape memory polymer composites for structural applications in space research deployable solar panel cover,includes a main theory corrugated board structure including the shutter mechanism of the solar panel experiments.The core components of the space-expandable solar shield designed by the thesis include corrugated plate-shaped solar shield panels with large storage ratios,and locking/release hooks using smart materials.This space expandable solar shield has a clear engineering application background,and the structural design using intelligent materials is innovative,and it will have wide application value in the aerospace field in the future.
