With the wind power industry becoming more and more mature,wind energy has become the development focus of clean energy.Transfer function between the coupling as a fan,its working state and mechanics performance of fan as a whole have a vital role,it can be maintained when the fan drive coupling between gear box and generator,and ensure a smooth transfer,so the performance of the coupling can be said to be a direct impact on the efficiency of the fan.In this paper,the mechanical properties of an important part of a fan coupling are studied by means of finite element analysis and experiment.Firstly,the rotation of the fan at a specific wind speed is analyzed,and the maximum torque transferred at the wind speed of 10m/s is obtained,which is also the maximum torque of the coupling.The value of the maximum torque provides a data reference for the finite element analysis.Considering the diaphragm as the elastic element is used to compensate the installation and operation of three kinds of error,and its role is to ensure that the coupling in the operation process will not cause body damage,because the error so the diaphragm of the coupling of the original design,response surface optimization,improve its mechanical properties,the optimized by concentrated force and displacement of deformation of diaphragm has a certain improvement,within the scope of the size required to achieve the optimal mechanical properties;As the main carrier of the transfer function,the mechanical properties and fatigue life of the intermediate are also analyzed,and it is found that it will not cause damage under the load of maximum and minimum torque,and its fatigue life can reach more than 100,000 times.Then the vibration characteristics of the optimized diaphragm are analyzed,and the difference between the diaphragm frequency in the free state and the diaphragm frequency under the limit torque loading is large,which will not cause resonance damage of the diaphragm in operation,and the rotation speed range also meets the requirements of the diaphragm frequency.Finally,the conclusion of finite element analysis is verified by test and static torque and slip tests are also carried out on the coupling.First has carried on the intermediate process optimization,to determine the better process manufacturing intermediates prototype testing,after verified under the maximum minimum torque,intermediates to specified torque value and keep no damage after 30 minutes,the conclusion of finite element analysis of intermediates concentrated force and displacement is small,there is no deformation under load,torque test and finite element analysis of the conclusion;The fatigue life test can satisfy100,000 loads.Diaphragm test need on the carrier of the whole machine test,test found thatusing the optimized diaphragm structure,the machine passed smoothly and diaphragm group in the process of test no deformation,no resonance occur deformation mode,at the same time the static torque of the machine and skid test composite design requirements,can also explain the optimized diaphragm can guarantee the coupling error compensation.All the above studies provide reference for the fan coupling in engineering application and its structural design optimization.
