Wind energy technology has developed rapidly with the science and technology uninterrupted growth. In all over the world, more and more large wind turbine generators have established consecutively and brought into service. The prospect of wind energy marketplace becomes vast extraordinarily. Diaphragm coupler is the important parts of the wind turbine, diaphragm is the key components of the diaphragm coupler, through which to transfer torque and exercise, and its design will affect to the normal operation and service life. So it is necessary to make vibration and fatigue analysis in the design stage for reliability. Under this background, the project is to carry out fatigue and vibration analysis to the crucial elements of diaphragm coupler, which responds to the need of some enterprise.The main contents are following:â‘ This paper bases on the dynamics theories and utilizes software platform of ADAMS to establish multi-rigid body system. Then, on the use of finite element software PATRAN, establish modal neutral document of diaphragm, and add it into the ADAMS to get the rigid-flexible coupling body.â‘¡According to the stress-time history results, utilizes the FATIGUE to make fatigue analysis, and obtain the life in repeats of diaphragm.â‘¢Based on the vibration theory, combined with finite element analysis software PATRAN/NASTRAN, establish the finite element model of diaphragm coupler. Using the modal analysis to obtain the first 10 bands natural frequency of vibration. Then calculate the 10 bands critical speed, compared it with the work speed to verify whether there will be any resonance.According to the above, it provides scientific and credible basis to the analysis and self design on the diaphragm coupler, and great theoretical significance and project application to enterprises to solve safety and life problem. In addition, it settles grounded basis for improving technical level of wind generator equipment, reducing cost of wind generation, promoting market competition capacity and implementing domestic wind generator with independent intellectual property rights.
