With the rapid development of China's economy,the urban construction of each city is in full swing,and a large number of buildings and structures require large and deep foundation pits as the basic conditions.In order to ensure that the remaining existing buildings(structures)around the foundation pit are not affected and safe during the excavation of the foundation pit,and to provide an excellent environment for the foundation of the buildings(structures)and the smooth construction of the basement.To enable the foundation pit excavation construction to be carried out smoothly,it is required to take necessary and effective support measures for deep foundation pit excavation.Therefore,the selection,design,and construction of foundation pit support structures have become the top priority of foundation pit engineering.This article takes the problems encountered in the design and construction of foundation pit support for the project 'outpatient and inpatient general center of Xian'hu Branch' as realistic cases,and performs corresponding calculation analysis and site monitoring for this project.After comparison and selection of multiple schemes,this project has designed a ‘supporting method for partialmain building to participate in foundation pit support' in areas where conventional pile anchor support is difficult to construct.The pile-anchor support in the rest of the foundation pit area of the combined project forms a new type of combined supporting method.In order to complete the force selection design of supporting piles and internal supports,the author calculated and checked the stress and deformation of the structural body through a variety of structural design software such as PKPM and Guangsha,and verified that this new joint support was feasible.This new joint supporting method is applied to this project and provides practical guidance services for the construction.At the same time,by tracking and monitoring the deformation results of the foundation pit,the deformation of the foundation pit was controlled within a reasonable range after using this supporting method,it meets the requirements of specification and construction,and the engineering cost was saved by more than30% compared with the conventional internal support scheme,creating better social benefits and economic value.‘Supporting method for partial main building to participate in foundation pit support',horizontal support can be set up between the partial main building on one side and the supporting pile on the other side,and the partial main building and supporting pile can be used to resist overloading outside the foundation pit and earth pressure,and then excavate the foundation pit on the other side to provide working space for the construction of this part of the main building.In order to resist horizontal thrust,the main building must be designedin coordination with the horizontal support,so that it can resist horizontal thrust and meet the requirements of the standard for ordinary buildings.After the main building on one side is built,the span of internal support is reduced.First,the upper part of the main building can be constructed at the same time,which can achieve the double effect of saving cost and construction time.Prior to this project,there was no design and construction content related to the form of support in domestic foundation pit support.The ‘supporting method for partial main building to participate in foundation pit support' is highly innovative,high technical content,which can effectively save construction time and cost,and has a great role in promoting the technological progress and development of the construction industry.
